We are very proud that our collaborative artwork, Unbordered Migrations, is now on display at the Swansea Open in the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery.

Unbordered Migrations
This piece was created by fourteen artists at the SASS drop-in, all of whom have come to Swansea seeking sanctuary. Each artist created a bird or a fish – creatures that fly and swim freely in skies and seas without borders – under the direction of Rosa, a SASS volunteer. Their individual pieces are brought together using driftwood found in Swansea Bay, representing the tides and current that have brought them here together to our City of Sanctuary.
The SASS community is made up of people of all ages from across the globe – more than thirty languages are spoken here. Why do people at SASS say they prefer Swansea to other UK cities? “There is love here”.
The artwork is not for sale, but donations to SASS are very welcome.
