A huge thank you to everyone at Matthew’s House for their incredibly generous food donations over the past few months.

Every Friday morning, SASS been receiving a large donation of fresh food, which helps us provide a hot, welcoming meal at our weekly drop-in. Any surplus food is then used at our Saturday drop-in, or shared with our attendees to take home, ensuring nothing goes to waste.

With SASS supporting more than 150 attendees each week, these donations make a huge difference. Not only do they help stretch our resources, but they also mean we can offer more nutritious food to those who need it most. It’s also a brilliant way to reduce food waste in our city, ensuring good food goes to those who need it.

It’s a perfect example of how important these connections are within the community, and what can happen when local organisations work together. We are all in it to make a difference in people’s lives!
