SASS is looking for an enthusiastic person with good skills in managing people, experience in the small charity sector, hands-on familiarity with strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation work and running customer relationships software, and general ability to help a staff team work efficiently and happily.
We are a small local charity that provides Welcome, Welfare, Wellbeing and Empowerment to asylum seekers and refugees through various activities. We currently have 5 staff, most part-time. All work directly with asylum-seekers and refugees. SASS work is mainly carried out at drop-ins on Fridays and Saturdays, but your attendance at every drop-in is not essential.
This is a 4 days/week post, funded by Comic Relief, for one year (continuation subject to funding).
Salary: £30,000 FTE (£24,000 actual) per annum plus 3% employer pension contribution
