All free! All welcome! (Donations welcome!)Poems, stories, music. Information about refugee support across South Wales. Buffet (halal). Speakers include the Deputy Lord Mayor of Swansea; Julie James AM for Swansea West; Sian James MP for Swansea East
MC: Kevin Ncube, BBC Radio Leicester, formerly a reporter with the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation. Bus fares paid for asylum seekers. 30 December – trip to the Panto at Swansea Grand Theatre
Before that, nobody wrote anything! We did have plenty of events!
2012
Saturday 8 September, 6pm-8pm at Swansea Museum: celebrating the “Home from Home?” exhibition with poems from workshops, and launch of “Life Stories” (see Downloads)
120 of us went on a trip to Dan y Ogof caves on 29 January 2012.
The trip was organised by committee member Mona Balbaki with funding from Communities First Trust Fund.
